Pando's Ask Advice feature allows you to request advice and guidance from the right people quickly and easily. For an overview of the Ask Advice feature, please see our help article here.
How to provide advice
You'll first need to create an Ask Advice Team or be added to an existing Ask Advice Team.
How to create an Ask Advice Team
The process of creating an Ask Advice Team is very similar to creating a normal Team:
Click the green '+' button next to TEAMS
Enter the name of your Ask Advice Team and switch on the Ask for Advice toggle
Enter a Welcome Message which will be visible to users requesting advice. This can be used to describe who's in the team, the remit of the advice requests and guidelines on what to include in a request
Add members to your Ask Advice Team who will be responding to the advice requests
If you are an iOS user, you will also be able to create an Ask Advice team by clicking the green '+' sign to the right of Ask Advice on the homepage. On the Ask Advice search screen, click 'Create' in the top right corner.
Responding to an Advice Request
All members of the Ask Advice Team will be notified when an Ask Advice request has been submitted. This will appear as an Unread Message with a ? icon.
Click into the unread message to view and respond to the Ask Advice request.
How to close an Advice Request
Once you have responded to the advice request, you can close the Ask Advice chat by clicking 'Tap to Resolve'.
The conversation will be saved in your Ask Advice History, which you can access on the Homepage if you are an iOS user or in Settings if you are an Android user.
Please note that the request can be reopened by yourself or the requestor should more information be needed.
